Raipur, 19 January 2021. Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey and Industries Minister Kavasi Lakhma visited the stalls set up by 05 women self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan) after attending the district level workshop organized at the district headquarters Bemetara today. . Ministers Choubey and Lakhma appreciated the efforts of the women’s groups and the material produced by them and appreciated them. These groups include Jai Maa Ambe Self Help Group Jaitpuri, Jyoti Self Help Group Eramsahi, Jai Satnam Self Help Group Katai, Ashirwad Self Help Group Lohadangia and Ma Sakambari Self Help Group Deori. Soap, handwash, pen, vermicompost finale by these groups, Pottery etc. is being manufactured and sold. In rural areas by providing employment opportunities for skill-based self-employment and skill-based wages, necessary support is provided, including training in skill up-gradation of groups associated with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan) Scheme to alleviate poverty. MLAs Bijapur Vikram Mandavi, MLA Bemetara Ashish Kumar Chhabra, Banshi Patel, Avnish Raghav, TR Janardhan, Lalit Vishwakarma and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
