Raipur, 21 January 2022. Two crore 10 lakh 58 thousand rupees have been approved by the Ministry of Water Resources for the construction and remodeling of remaining pucca works of 4 minors of Asaunda Distributor canal of Mahanadi project under Dharsiwa development block of Raipur district and for CC lining work. Chief Engineer Mahanadi The project has been awarded to Raipur. With the completion of the above work, in addition to fulfilling the shortfall of 260 hectares in its irrigation capacity, water supply can be made for irrigation in 1113 hectares of fully designed irrigation capacity.
