The application process for the registration of construction workers and for schemes run for the welfare of other workers under the Labour Department of Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has been provisioned by the CSC.
The Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has said that manual workers had been complaining of being troubled by some CSC centers about the registration of workers and the application process of schemes run for the welfare of the workers. The manual workers were also not receiving any benefits from the schemes. The C.S.C. centers located in various places in the state that are observing negligence in registering manual workers and accepting applications for Labour Department’s schemes are being prohibited from taking up the Labour Department’s works.
The Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has said that 15 CSC centers in Raipur, 12 in Balodabazar, 9 in Gariyaband, 1 in Dhamtari, 1 in Mahasamund, 5 in Bilaspur, 3 in Korba, 12 in Janjgir-Champa, 9 in Raigarh, 2 in Bastar, 3 in Kondagaon, 1 in Sukma, 1 in Narayanpur, 6 in Sarguja, 10 in Surajpur, 4 in Balrampur, 6 in Koriya, 1 in Jashpur, 11 in Durg, 32 in Rajnandgaon, 12 in Balod, 19 in Bemetara, and 5 in Kawardha have been prohibited from working under the Labour Department
