Chief Minister reviews departmental work with Ministers through video conferencing
During lockdown, all ministers, officers and employees did commendable work with team spirit

Raipur, 12 April 2020. A meeting of ministers and officials was held at the Chief Minister’s residence here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Members of the Council of Ministers and officials attended the meeting through video conferencing. The meeting reviewed the work of various departments in view of increasing lock-down for prevention of corona virus infection.
Baghel said that important suggestions have been received from all ministers regarding the lockdown. It will be decided after the guide line of the Government of India. Separate orders will be issued for this, and these orders will have to be strictly followed. He said that the officers-staff led by all ministers have done commendable work with team spirit in implementing measures to prevent and prevent infection of Kovid-19 during lockdown. In the meeting, he made arrangements for the availability of Corona Testing Kit, Mask, PPE Kit, Globs, Sanitizer, Ventilator, Isolation Ward, Quarantine Center, Dedicated Kovid-19 Hospital to provide employment to villagers, agricultural preparations, drinking water situation etc. Reviewed and gave necessary instructions.
Mr. Baghel reviewed the supplementary nutritious food to women and children, dry ration under the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign, distribution of food grains for two months to ration card holders. He said that rationing should be done with security for rain in fair price shops of Naxalite affected districts. Review of the work of various departments including availability of fertilizer and seeds for agriculture, arrangement of food and ration for the needy, destitute people, laborers, summer drinking water, preparation of tendu patta toddy, destitute, distribution of social security pension to the handicapped Of. The Chief Minister said that social distressing should be taken care of in the fields. He instructed to collect information about such industries, which require fewer workers and whose living, eating and lodging arrangements can be made there. He instructed the Higher Education Department to arrange for online education in undergraduate and postgraduate classes, similar to the Department of School Education. It was informed in the meeting that online studies are going on in Engineering College and ITI.
