The Health Department has directed the Chief Medical and Health Officer of all the districts and the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Hospital Superintendent to recruit patients on beds with oxygen facility as per the capacity of the Oxygen Generation Plant set up in the hospital. If more patients are admitted than the capacity of the oxygen plant, there will be a situation of low pressure due to which there will not be sufficient supply of oxygen by the plant.
Director, Health Services Mr. Neeraj Bansod has written in a letter to all the Chief Medical and Health Officers and Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Hospital Superintendents of the state that in view of the increasing infection of Kovid-19 at present, Medical College Hospitals, Districts of the state The number of beds having oxygen facility in hospitals and dedicated Kovid hospitals has been increased. Along with this, an oxygen generation plant has also been established for continuous supply of oxygen there. He has instructed the use of beds with oxygen facility according to the capacity of the oxygen generation plant in the hospitals.
