Farmers Mrs. Chhaiya and Mr. Rajesh thanked the Chief Minister

In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has announced in the assembly to buy 20 quintals of paddy per acre instead of 15 quintals on the support price from the farmers. With this announcement of the Chief Minister, there is a wave of happiness among the farmers of Mahasamund district. Small and big farmers are also expressing their thanks and gratitude to the Chief Minister on social media and WhatsApp groups.
Mrs. Chhaiyya Bai Sahu, a farmer of Parsathi village of Mahasamund, said that her land used to produce more paddy, but that entire paddy could not be sold at the support price. The remaining paddy had to be sold through coaches. Due to which they got less profit. But now with the decision of the Chief Minister, every grain of paddy produced in our land will be bought. This will benefit us a lot. He congratulated the government and the Chief Minister for this.
Speaking on the phone, Mr. Rajesh Sidar, a farmer of Pirda village of Basna assembly constituency, said that the Chief Minister has now increased paddy procurement by 5 quintals per acre in the interest of the farmers. This will be of great benefit to the farmers. He told in the conversation that even after selling 80 quintals of paddy at the support price earlier, a lot of paddy was left. But now with the decision to buy 20 quintals of paddy per acre, their entire paddy will be sold. This will further strengthen their economic condition.
