State Women’s Commission Chairperson Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak has written a letter to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel urging him to start a massive movement to save the people of Chhattisgarh from drugs. He has said in the letter that intoxication is harmful for our lives. All sections of the society have to suffer directly or indirectly. After your government came to power, women and child development department, social welfare department, women’s commission, together with the help of police and the government, have tried together to stop drug addiction and it has also had an effect.

Dr. Nayak has said in a letter to the Chief Minister that you must have felt the need to convert it into a mass movement. He has requested the Chief Minister that in order to save the public from the use of all kinds of drugs, Ganja, Bhang, Jarda Gudakhu, Tobacco, Liquor, Gutka, Smoking, Charas, Opium, Smack, Cocaine and Brown Sugar, the common people, especially women, Along with this, a massive mass movement should be started, the benefits of which can be availed by all the people of Chhattisgarh Mahtari.
