Raipur, 22 September 2021. The Chief Minister Haat-Bazaar Clinic Scheme of the State Government has proved to be a very successful scheme in the field of health. With this scheme, access to health facilities has become accessible in the villages. A large number of poor villagers are getting benefited from this. The success of this scheme has set an example in Mahasamund district of the state. Facility of investigation and treatment is being provided by organizing health camps in Haat-Bazar held every week in Bagbahra, Basna, Saraipali and Pithora development blocks including Mahasamund of Mahasamund district. In these camps, the patients are getting basic health facilities fast. So far, more than 55 thousand people have been tested and treated for various diseases through this scheme in the district. Since last July, necessary medicines have been provided after conducting health check-up of about twenty thousand people in the Haat-Bazaars being held in the district.
In order to give maximum benefit to the villagers from this scheme, information about the camp in local languages is given by the district administration and health department from time to time through street play-kalajatha.
