Festive atmosphere prepared on the basis of Chhattisgarhia theme

Like every year, on the occasion of Chhattisgarh’s traditional ‘Tija-Pora festival’, this year too a grand festival will be organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on September 14 from 11 pm. For this, preparations are going on in full swing here. The enthusiasm for the three-day long traditional Teeja-Pora festival is now visible in full swing across Chhattisgarh. The markets are bustling with activity and the festival-goers, mothers, sisters, farmer brothers and common people are busy preparing to celebrate this festival with full enthusiasm.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has started celebrating important festivals of Chhattisgarh culture at his residence. In this series, preparations for Teeja-Pora festival are being done at the Chief Minister’s residence. Tonight, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel’s wife Mrs. Mukteshwari Baghel herself took stock of the preparations for the festival. On this occasion, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendia and Chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Women Commission, Dr. Mrs. Kiranmayi Nayak were also present.
The courtyard of the Chief Minister’s residence is being decorated in typical traditional style. The entire atmosphere here looks colorful as per the festival and shows a glimpse of our Chhattisgarhia culture. In the decoration, models of Nandi bull are seen decorated at various places in this courtyard, which are giving a feeling of prosperity and happiness. Supa and Tokni have been decorated in a very unique style with beautiful colorful work at various places. Colorful arches and traditional artwork are enhancing the beauty of the place as per the theme of the festival. The atmosphere of the Chief Minister’s residence appears to be typical Chhattisgarhia Teeja-Pora.
