Bijapur district received maximum rainfall in the state.

According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 719.9 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2023 to today, August 25 morning, the highest average rainfall of 1258.3 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 336.0 mm in Surguja district. According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 655.3 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 687.2 mm in Balrampur, 589.0 mm in Jashpur, 705.2 mm in Korea, 713.8 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 823.1 mm in Raipur district, 723.1 mm in Balodabazar, 658.3 mm in Gariaband, 750.2 mm in Mahasamund, 721.4 mm in Dhamtari, 733.4 mm in Bilaspur, 884.0 mm in Mungeli, 803.6 mm in Raigarh, 660.6 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 614.3 mm, Sakti 606.0 mm, Korba 708.5 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 733.0 mm, Durg 578.3 mm. 559.7 mm in Kabirdham district, 780.6 mm in Rajnandgaon, 915.9 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 745.3 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 763.9 mm in Balod, 556.8 mm in Bemetara, 728.1 mm in Bastar, 665.3 mm in Kondagaon, Kanker recorded 677.1 mm, Narayanpur 642.4 mm, Dantewada 822.3 mm and Sukma 1046.8 mm of average rainfall since June 1.
