Raipur: 66.75 lakh metric tonnes of paddy purchased till January 11 in the state: 16.47 lakh farmers sold paddy in the state

    Raipur, 11 January 2021. In the Kharif marketing year 2020-21, 66 lakh 75 thousand metric paddy has been purchased till 11 January 2021. So far, 16 lakh 47 thousand farmers of the state sold paddy at the support price. The state millers received a DO of 21 lakh 87 thousand 736 MT of paddy. has been issued. Against this, so far 18 lakh 74 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been taken up by the millers. 

    In the Kharif year 2020-21, 87 thousand 478 metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased in Bastar district of the state till January 11, 2021. Similarly, 42 thousand 898 MT in Bijapur district, 9 thousand 450 MT in Dantewada district, 2 lakh 6 thousand 814 MT in Kanker district, 97 thousand 854 MT in Kondagaon district, 13 thousand 17 MT in Narayanpur district, Sukma 25 thousand 386 metric tons in the district, 3 lakh 52 thousand 571 metric tons in Bilaspur district, Gorella-Pandra-Marwahi 51 thousand 322 metric tons, 6 lakh 48 thousand 326 metric tons in Janjgir-Champa district, 84 thousand 556 metric in Korba district. Tonnes, 2 lakh 77 thousand 300 metric tons have been purchased in Mungeli district.

    Similarly, 4 lakh one thousand 380 MT in Raigad district, 4 lakh 5 thousand MT in Balod district, 4 lakh 66 thousand 104 MT in Bemetra district, 3 lakh 8 thousand 378 MT in Durg district, 3 lakh in Kawardha district. 25 thousand 231 MT, 5 lakh 54 thousand 540 MT in Rajnandgaon district, 4 lakh 48 thousand 761 MT in Balodabazar district, 3 lakh 23 thousand 862 MT in Dhamtari district, 2 lakh 36 thousand 341 MT in Gariaband district, 4 lakh 53 thousand 665 MT in Mahasamund district, 3 lakh 77 thousand 719 MT in Raipur district, one lakh one thousand 165 MT in Balrampur district, 73 thousand 874 MT in Jashpur district, 78 thousand 852 MT in Korea district One lakh 3 thousand 593 metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased in Surguja district and one lakh 19 thousand 671 metric tonnes of paddy in Surajpur district.
