Raipur, 20 April 2021. On the initiative of the Minister in-charge of Forest and Kawardha district, Mr. Mohammad Akbar, a grant of Rs. 50 lakh has been approved to prevent and help the victims of Kovid-19 Corona virus infection in Kabirdham (Kawardha) district. With this amount, arrangements will be made on the provision of Vetilators, ICUs and Oxygen beds in Kovid Hospitals located in the district. Minister Mr. Akbar has also directed the Collector to ensure the availability of oxygen cylinders and Remedisvir injections to the patients according to their condition. He has asked to increase the available 140 beds at Kawardha Kovid Hospital to 300 beds as well as 82 beds with oxygen to 98 beds.
Minister Mr. Akbar has also asked for better treatment of corona-infected patients in Kawardha district and to take all necessary measures to increase medical and human resources in the Kovid Care Centers operated in the district and to combat the epidemic. On the initiative of Minister Shri Akbar, 85 nos. Oxygen cylinders have also been made available for the needy people infected with Kovid in the district to get oxygen in the district itself.
On the instructions of Minister Shri Akbar, the Collector took a meeting and directed to immediately purchase all necessary and necessary materials for the prevention of Corona virus, including oxygen cylinders, beds, oximeters, masks, Remedicivir injections for Covid Care Center and other necessary materials. It is noteworthy that 7 thousand 500 packets of herbal Ayushman decoction have been distributed through the councilors in Kawardha city for the control of Corona. Similarly, more than 8 thousand face masks are being distributed from house to house.
