In the final match of women's singles of badminton going on at Deendayal Upadhyay Stadium in Surat, Akarshi made her first

 Akarshi Kashyap, the emerging badminton player of Chhattisgarh, gave a gold medal to Chhattisgarh by performing brilliantly in the 36th National Games going on in Gujarat. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and congratulated Akarshi Kashyap for this golden achievement. He said that Akarshi has made Chhattisgarh proud. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Umesh Patel also congratulated Akarshi and said that Akarshi gave gold medal to Chhattisgarh by giving her best performance in the struggling final match. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Sports Minister Umesh Patel have wished Akarshi Kashyap for a bright future. 

In the final match of badminton women’s singles going on at Deendayal Upadhyay Stadium in Surat, Akarshi defeated first seed Malvika Bansod of Maharashtra in a 44-minute struggle to clinch the winner’s title. Akarshi won the first set easily 21-8. In the second set, Akarshi managed to win the second gold medal for Chhattisgarh by winning 22-20. Earlier in the semi-final match, Akarshi had won by defeating Tanya Hemant of Karnataka 21-13, 21-15. 
   In the 36th National Games held in Gujarat, the players of Chhattisgarh have won 7 medals so far. Which includes two gold, three silver and two bronze medals. It is worth mentioning that Amitesh Mishra has won the gold medal in the skating event before Akarshi Kashyap in this competition. All the office bearers of the State Badminton Association and Sports Director Smt. Shweta Sinha have also congratulated and congratulated Akarshi for winning the gold medal. After this victory, Akarshi has expressed gratitude to CG Governance, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, CG Olympic Association, CG Badminton Association.
