Raipur: 30 positive recoveries in Janjgir Champa’s Sattiguri

Raipur, 16 April 2021. 30 patients of Corona positive in village Sattiguri of Baloda development block of Janjgir-Champa district have returned to normal. Rapid treatment by the district administration is providing health benefits to other infected people rapidly.

On Thursday, Collector Mr. Yashwant Kumar visited Sattiguri village to take stock of the situation. He inquired from the villagers of Sattiguri about their health and asked for their skill. The Chief Medical and Health Officer instructed Dr. SR Banjare to treat the infected seriously and make them health conscious. The collector instructed to keep a constant watch on the health of the infected.

People of village Sattiguri under development block Baloda in Janjgir-Champa district had attended different matrimonial programs from the first week of April. On 7 April, a person from the village involved in the program was found to be corona infected during an investigation at the Community Health Center, Baloda. On the basis of contact tracing, the other villagers involved in the program were also tested. In which there was an increase in the number of infected people. As the number increased, the villagers conducted a corona check by setting up a camp by the Health Department team in the village itself. More than 450 people were tested in a village with a total population of 680, so far 135 rural corona were found infected.

The entire village has been sealed in the public interest from the point of view of security under the instructions received from the state government and under the guidance of the District Magistrate. Barricades have been placed at all the entrances of the village. Munadi has been made in the entire village. All corona infected are under home isolation under the supervision of the Department of Health. Necessary counseling is being provided by the Health Department to the infected through mobile and WhatsApp. The movement of villagers and other outsiders into the village has been banned. The distribution of essential medicines and other essential materials is being done under the supervision of the district administration. Duties of Kotwar and employment assistants have been imposed on the border of the village. The entire village is under the supervision of the Health Department and the administration. Currently, 30 corona-infected patients have been recovered. The health of the remaining infected patients is also better than before and their health is constantly improving.
