Raipur, 18 August 2021. The excise team of Raipur district has seized 288 pieces of foreign liquor of Madhya Pradesh province in Changorabhatha Raipur on Tuesday, as well as arrested one accused on the spot and sent him to jail, while one accused has escaped from the spot. Renald Kwid car number CG-04 LT 1249 used in illegal transportation of liquor has also been seized. The seized liquor is a total of 51.84 bulk liters, whose market value is 34 thousand 580 rupees and the value of the seized car is one lakh 60 thousand rupees.
It is worth mentioning that to strictly check the smuggling and illegal transportation of liquor in the state, a campaign of investigation is being conducted continuously. Under the guidance of Tripathi, on the basis of continuous information, the process of raid and seizure is being done.
