Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on the reservation bill
Raipur, 04 December 2022, Members of the Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here this evening and thanked the Chief Minister for passing the bill to provide 27 percent reservation to Other Backward Classes in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said on the occasion that 27 percent reservation for Other Backward Classes in Chhattisgarh will become an example in the whole country. The decision of reservation will prove to be important in the direction of the development of other backward class people residing here. A large section of the socially and economically backward population will get a better chance to move forward. The Chief Minister said that we have decided to provide 27 percent reservation to this class after collecting the necessary data related to citizens of other backward classes in the state by constituting the Quantifiable Data Commission.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the Government of Chhattisgarh is committed to the development of all sections of the society including other backward classes. The members of the Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association told the Chief Minister that there is a wave of happiness in the entire state over the passage of the Reservation Bill. Here for the first time the pain of the Other Backward Classes has been understood. The delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the various facilities including hostels being opened at various places for the students of Other Backward Classes by the State Government.
On this occasion, Sarvashri Omprakash Sahu, Leelaram, Devaram, Baliram Sinha, Bhagwat Vaishnav, Phoolchand Dewan, Gangaram Baghel, Suresh Patel, Chintaram Sahu, Krishna, Thakur Ram, Loknath Rathore, Harichand Nishad, Ramdutt Kaushik, Mrs. Dhaneshwari, Mrs. Padmavati, Mrs. Revati Vatsal, Mohan Chandravanshi, Bhupendra, Santosh, Dhanaram Sahu etc were present.
