The 22nd meeting of the State Level Geological Program Board will be held in the capital Raipur on October 10. Secretary, Mineral Resources Department, Shri Siddharth Komal Pardeshi will preside over the meeting. The meeting will start at 11 am at the new Vishram Bhawan.
According to the information received from Director Geology and Mining, in this meeting the work done for exploration of minerals in the state in the year 2021-22 will be reviewed. Also, the proposed program for exploration of minerals in the state will be finalized in the year 2022-23.
Rajasthani Geological Program Board meeting was attended by Geological Survey of India, Department of Atomic Mineral Research, Central Mine Planning and Design Institute, Central Institute for Mining and Fuel Research, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, Indian Bureau of Mines, Central Geo-Minerals Research Department, Government of India. Water Conservation Department, National Mineral Development Corporation and Airborne Mineral Exploration Division and State Government Finance Department, Forest and Planning, Water Resources, Industries Department, Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology, Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board, Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Limited and Directorate of Geology And senior officials of mining and geo-scientists will be involved.
