Raipur, 02 December 2020. In the Kharif marketing year 2020-21, 2 lakh 29 thousand 675 metric paddy has been purchased in two days till December 2. 70 thousand farmers of the state sold paddy at the support price.
Continuous monitoring is being done to prevent illegal paddy transport in the border districts of the state. 22 checkposts have been made to check illegal paddy transport in Kabirdham district. Out of these, 12 checkposts have been set up in the border area, 11 checkposts have been built in the Bodla development block and one checkpost in the border area of Pandaria development block. Collector and SP of Kabirdham district reached Chilfi today and inspected the interstate barrier. Bilaspur Collector made a surprise inspection of the Paddy Procurement Center of Bilha development block. The Collector instructed the committee managers at the procurement center to take special care that farmers do not have any inconvenience as per the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel.
In Kharif year 2020-21, 25 thousand 68 metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased in Mahasamund district of the state on December 2. Similarly, one thousand 16 MT in Bastar district, 183 MT in Bijapur district, 54.64 MT in Dantewada district, 6 thousand 54 MT in Kanker district, 3 thousand 325 MT in Kondagaon district, 111 MT in Narayanpur district, 102 metric tons in Sukma district, 9 thousand 164 metric tons in Bilaspur district, Gorella-Pandra-Marwahi one thousand 447 metric tons, 5 thousand 583 metric tons in Janjgir-Champa district, 207.36 metric tons in Korba district, 5 thousand in Mungeli district. 334 MT, 8 thousand 954 MT in Raigad district, 18 thousand 301 MT in Balod district, 16 thousand 936 MT in Bemetra district, 14 thousand 471 MT in Durg district, 17 thousand 60 MT in Kawardha, Rajnandgaon district. 22 thousand 993 MT,
