Raipur: 18 group water supply schemes will be built at a cost of Rs 758 crore for clean water supply in drinking water problem oriented villages of the state.

Raipur, 03 July 2021.   Action plan to supply clean water from tap to one lakh 98 thousand families of such rural areas of the state through group water supply scheme, where ground water source is not available or the problem of water pollution exists. Prepared by the Department of Health Engineering. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, 18 cluster water supply schemes will be constructed in the state at a cost of 757.83 crore.

 

According to the information received from Public Health Engineering Department, Giroudpuri Group Water Supply Scheme and Kharve Group Water Supply Scheme in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district will be constructed at a cost of Rs 62.23 crore and Rs 6.89 crore respectively. Similarly, Supebeda group water supply scheme in Gariaband district with a cost of Rs 10.34 crore, a narrow cluster at a cost of 31.45 crore in Dhamtari district and Ghatula group water supply scheme costing 32.45 crore, Samoda-Achola group water supply scheme in Mahasamund district with a cost of Rs 66.58 crore. construction will take place. Chandkhuri-Kolihapuri-Pisegaon cluster water supply scheme in Durg district at a cost of 45.07, Kodraghan-Surpa group water supply at a cost of 21.22 crore, Jevra-Sirsakhurd-Bhatgaon cluster at a cost of 25.81 crore, Nikum group water supply scheme at a cost of 26.30 crore, Patharia group water supply at a cost of 46.72 crore, Amaleshwar-Jheet group at a cost of 22.80 crore and Kauhi group water supply scheme at a cost of 20.04 crore. Similarly, in Balod district, Kaneri group water supply at a cost of 42.21 crores, in Kabirdham district at a cost of 53.44 crores, Thathapur-Dasrangpur-Indauri, in Bemetara district at a cost of 110.54 crores, Kumhiguda group and Amaldiha group water supply scheme at a cost of 106.08 crores. And in Surajpur district, Biharpur Group Water Supply Scheme will be constructed at a cost of 28.35 crores.
