Raipur, 17 October 2020. The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management of the Government of Chhattisgarh grants financial assistance to the disaster victims through the District Collector to various natural disaster victims. Financial assistance of Rs 16 lakh has been approved in four cases of different districts of the state.
Under Revenue Book Circular 6-4, Shivamangal of village Navapara Kalan of Premnagar tehsil of Surajpur district died due to snakebite and Mr. Harish Kumar Kunjam of Kosampani village of Narharpur tehsil of North Bastar (Kanker) district drowned in water. Financial assistance of four lakhs has been sanctioned to their families. Similarly, financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakhs has been sanctioned to the families of the deceased due to the death of Shri Maniram Uike and Shri Lal Say of village Halamimunzmeta of Narayanpur development block in Narayanpur district.
