An eleven-day Ghadwa art workshop is being organized by the Tribal Folk Art Academy under the Culture Department from 11th September to 21st September. This workshop will run daily from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm in the Mahant Ghasidas Museum complex located in Civil Lines of the capital Raipur.
According to the information received from Shri Naval Shukla, President of Chhattisgarh Tribal Folk Art Academy, Ghadwa Art Workshop is being organized to encourage and save the tribal folk art Ghadwa art. In the workshop, the artisans of Ghadwa art, Shri Phoolsingh Besra, Mohan Netam, Peelu Baghel, Narendra Besra and Sikandar Baghel of Kondagaon, Shri Ganesh Kashyap of Khorkhesa, Shri Jairam Nag of Bankarai, Shri Bisram Nag, Shri Teduram Baghel of Karanpur, Shri Ludru Sagar, The participants are included as artists.
