Raipur 14 September 2020. The state government is making all efforts to deliver Covid patients on time to the hospital / Covid Care Center. Instructions have been given to bring 108 Sanjeevani Express or other ambulances with doctors, paramedical staff and oxygen facilities to the hospital for serious patients. Other patients who are without symptoms or have fewer symptoms can use their own vehicle or use other vehicles available in the district. In this regard, Director Health Services  Neeraj Bansod has issued instructions to all the Chief Medical and Health Officers. Also, it has been appealed to the general public that patients without symptoms go to the hospital by private vehicle or other available vehicle so that serious patients can be sent to the hospital by 108 Sanjeevani Express and get proper treatment on time.
The instruction states that after the patients are taken to the hospital, the disinfection of their vehicle or personal vehicle should be done with one percent sodium hypochlorite. Also, the driver and attendant should use gloves and sanitizer. Similarly, 108 vehicles should also be disinfected with the prescribed protocol. If the patient uses a private vehicle or hospital ambulance for treatment in a private hospital, it should be reported to the district level Kovid Center / Chief Medical and Health Officer office by the patient’s family.
