Raipur, 19 January 2021. Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey and Industries Minister Kavasi Lakhma were specially involved in the district level workshop organized at Bemetara on Tuesday by the Department of Commerce and Industry. This workshop was organized for the purpose of discussing the present situation and prospects of industrial development in Bemetara district. Minister Lakhma said during the discussion with media representatives on the occasion that the Industrial Policy 2019-24 presently the industrial policy of Chhattisgarh is better than other developed states. In which there is a provision of 100 percent grant to steel and iron industries in district Bemetara. Along with this, the Minister also gave detailed information about 104 MoUs in the state of Chhattisgarh. Minister Lakhma said that with the establishment of new industries in the state of Chhattisgarh, capital investment will increase in the state and a large number of youth will get employment.
Minister Lakhma also informed about the progress of food park in Bemetara district. He said that the Land Industries Department has been received for the establishment of a food park in each development block of Bemetara district. Proposal for construction of foodpark in Chandanu and Raveli has also been prepared. He said that the new industrial policy will provide development to the district and provide employment to local residents. This workshop was organized by the Department of Industries. Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Chaubey, Bijapur MLA Mr. Vikram Mandavi, Bemetara MLA Mr. Ashish Chhabra were specially attended the workshop.
Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey directed the officials of the Department of Industries to create an industrial atmosphere in the entire district, including the possibilities of development of the Birla region. Bemetara is an agricultural producer district, which has the potential to establish several food processing industries. Referring to the cotton ginning plant, the Minister congratulated the Department of Industries for the industrial development of the district and said that the Chandanu and Raveli Foodpark would prove to be a milestone for the food processing industries.
