It is worth noting that in the review meetings in the past, Collector Mr. Sinha had reviewed the construction of KCC in the district. Expressed displeasure over the slow pace of approval and construction of KCC cases in small numbers and instructed all the concerned officials to set up KCCs by setting up camps. KCC making camps are being organized as per his instructions. According to the information received from the Nodal Officer, Apex Bank, Kisan Credit Card camps are being organized in 69 cooperative societies of the district from March 13, 2023 to March 31, 2023 in each block panchayat. In this camp Veterinary Department, Fisheries Department, Officers and field level employees of Horticulture Department and Agriculture Department will be present. Based on the eligibility of farmer beneficiaries, all kinds of documentary proceedings will be done at the camp site itself for preparation of Kisan Credit Card as per the rules. The camp will start from 11 am.
Farmers get interest free loan from KCC

KCC provides interest-free short-term loans to farmers for agricultural purposes. Short term loans have also been given for animal husbandry, fisheries and horticulture works. Loan up to 2.00 lakh for animal husbandry is given at 1 percent interest rate and loan above Rs. 2 lakh and up to Rs. 3 lakh is given at 3 percent interest rate. Loan given up to 3 lakh for fisheries and horticulture work is interest free (0 percent interest rate) like short term agriculture loan.
