Raigarh, 27 June2021. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain appreciated the Collector  Bhim Singh for the work done in the district in the field of health during the virtual review meeting of all the districts last day. He told Collector Singh that others are getting inspiration from your work, for this you deserve to be congratulated. During the review meeting, the strengthening of health infrastructure in the districts was being discussed. During this, Collector Shri Singh informed that work has already been started in this direction in Raigad district. Work like upgradation of hospitals and purchase of equipment is being done by spending crores of rupees from CSR and DMF. Facilities like X-ray machines, blood banks, labs, ambulances are being provided in the hospitals. Strong infrastructure has been prepared for the treatment of Kovid. The work of Kovid vaccination is also being done very fast in the district. On this, Chief Secretary Shri Jain described his work as exemplary.

 

 

 

 

In compliance with the instructions given by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel regarding the implementation of flagship schemes of the state government including expansion of health infrastructure and facilities in all government hospitals of the state, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain took the collector’s conference through video conferencing and various departments. The Chief Secretary said that according to the intention of the Chief Minister, the way educational infrastructure has been developed through Swami Atmanand English Medium School in the state, similarly he has given instructions to make the medical infrastructure excellent. The Chief Secretary directed all the District Collectors to prepare an action plan to promote medical infrastructure in their district. He said that it is the intention of the Chief Minister that the people of the state should get quality health facilities.

 

 

 

 

The Chief Secretary said that keeping in view the role and utility of Gauthans, the Chief Minister has given instructions to realize the possibilities like mini rice mill and hauler mill for Kodo-Kutki here. All collectors’ efforts should work in this direction.

 

 

 

 

The Chief Secretary said that the district administration has done the work of Kovid-19 vaccination in the state of Chhattisgarh by running a comprehensive campaign. This momentum should be maintained in the future as well. According to the intention of the Chief Minister, the District Collectors were asked to work with full sensitivity for the education system and scholarship of the destitute and orphaned children due to Kovid infection and provide assistance through Mahtari Dular Yojana. The Chief Secretary said that various schemes have been started in the state to encourage farmers to take other crops instead of paddy. The District Administration and Agriculture Department should provide all possible help to such farmers and remove their difficulties. He asked the farmers to encourage the use of useful vermi compost and super compost made through Gauthan.

 

 

 

 

The Chief Secretary reviewed in detail the prevention and treatment of water-borne seasonal diseases due to rain, the situation of rainfall and the prevention and relief measures from flood-disaster. He inquired about the massive tree plantation programme, Roka-Chheka campaign, action plan to clear the encroached land for pasture in villages and to grow improved varieties of fodder in it. The Chief Secretary directed to make pastures in Gauthans and to plant good quality fodder in them. He asked to take cooperation of people by organizing gram sabhas to make the Roka-Chheka campaign, which will be run across the state from July 1, a success. For this, he asked to organize a meeting of Gauthan Management Committee, to provide services of veterinarians in Gauthans. The status of paddy lifting from the paddy procurement center was reviewed and instructions were given to get the remaining paddy lifted at the earliest.

 

 

 

 

The Chief Secretary asked for speedy disposal of applications received under the Public Service Guarantee Scheme and revenue matters like conversion, division, demarcation. He asked the senior officers of the revenue department to organize a camp once a week at the tehsil level for speedy disposal of revenue cases.
