Raigad, 19 April 2021. Everyone above 45 years of age is being vaccinated to deal with the corona epidemic. People who have been vaccinated are appealing to all other eligible people that if they have not yet taken the first dose of the vaccine, then go and get the vaccine soon. 62-year-old Ugrasen Sahu of Chakradhar Nagar Banglapara got vaccinated and said that those who have not yet been vaccinated should get vaccinated immediately. He told that the vaccine prepares our body to fight against any disease, virus or infection. Through this vaccine, we will be able to fight against diseases like corona. He said that everyone should fulfill their responsibility and go to the vaccination center and get the vaccine done as soon as possible.
Panchuram, a 50-year-old resident of Beladula, got vaccinated. After getting vaccinated, he said that he had been waiting for this day since when this epidemic came last year and we all got vaccinated. He said that all those who are eligible for vaccination and have not yet been vaccinated should get vaccinated soon.
Similarly, 63-year-old Jairam Bhagat of Govardhanpur said that he is feeling very well after getting the vaccine. He also appealed to all other eligible people to get vaccinated soon. He said that there should be no insecurity of any kind in it. Immunization of corona vaccine will develop immunity which will protect us from this epidemic.
More than three lakh people have taken the first dose
So far, 3 lakh 07 thousand 513 citizens above 45 years of age have been given the first dose of vaccine in Kovid vaccination. Of these, 36009 in Barmakela, 23810 in Tamnar, 31383 in Pusaur, 16925 in Gharghoda, 44111 in Dharamjaigarh, 35244 in Loing, 26470 in Lailunga, 28837 in Kharsia, 44640 in Sarangarh, Raigad Urban in 20084, including 3 lakh 07 thousand 513 people. The first dose of vaccine has been administered.
Rural outpaces urban area
District Immunization Officer Dr. Bhanu Patel said that people in rural areas have surpassed the people of urban areas in getting vaccinated. Looking at the immunization figures so far, 100 percent people have been vaccinated as per the target allotted in Barmakela, Lailunga, Gharghoda, Tamnar, Lowing, Dharamjigarh. On the other hand, 95 percent target has been met in Kharsia and 94 percent in Sarangarh. In this case Raigad urban area is left behind, only 61 percent of the target allocated here have been vaccinated so far. He said that people need to be more aware and responsible for vaccination. All people who are eligible and have not yet taken their first dose of vaccine should be vaccinated as soon as possible.
