Raigad , 8 October 2020. It is possible to get to the big floor with the help of small steps, if one does work with this thinking, then what he gets becomes an example for others. In Chharatangar with a population of about 2000 in Gharghoda development block, Shiv Charan Diwakar, RAEO of the Department of Agriculture has done something similar. By making farmers aware , they are not only teaching the use of new farming techniques, but also understanding the situation of the village and finding solutions to local problems related to agriculture. Due to which the local farmers especially small farmers have benefited.
Bio gas made in the village to increase crop yield and save the environment
Shivcharan explains that open grazing of livestock in the village caused major damage to crops and did not yield the expected yield. To overcome this problem, he devised an idea and made bio gas in the village. Biogas was to prevent grazing in the open, so the villagers had to persuade the animals to keep it in the house, and para as fodder for it was done after the paddy missile. If the cow dung was to be used properly in the house, then thought that biogas should be made for this, persuaded the women of the village and asked them to remove their reluctance that if bio gas is not successful, they will pay the expenses. Thus 10 people have 2Made biogas of cubic meter. This step not only increased the yield of the crop, but the farmers who used to burn para in the fields which caused pollution also decreased. Housewives found cheap and refurbished fuel at home and the biogas-derived dung slurry helped promote organic farming. Shivcharan has also built a model biogas for school children behind his quarters.
Shivcharan, who is trying to build the future
of the youth, formed a group of youth from the villages and connected them to the Nehru Yuva Kendra organization ,The youth of the village can learn leadership qualities with lessons of personality development. This not only helped the youth to prepare a good future but also developed an understanding of their social responsibility. The youth started taking part in social interests along with employment oriented activities. He has organized a group of farmers in the village and is promoting organic farming. Along with this, they are continuously working towards creating awareness among the departmental schemes and benefiting the farmers from it. Be thou subsidies by getting transformer farmers to farmers’ fields power Phuocwane or inset tubewells in the fields , to improve crop yield , is working as a soil treatment extended to the villagers to set new dimensions of development.
