Raigad: Collector Bhim Singh’s initiative to get 6 crores for upgradation of hospitals

Raigad, 17 October 2020. Collector  Bhim Singh has taken an innovative initiative to improve health services in the district. Under which a detailed action plan has been prepared to rejuvenate the major government hospitals of the district with the CSR item. This action plan with a budget of 6 crores will mainly create a new community health center in Pusaur with a budget of 2.5 crores and upgrading 07 other community health centers in the district including Dharamjaigarh, Lalunga, Gharghoda, Baramkela, Sarangarh, Kharsia and Loing For 50-50 lakh rupees will be received. With this amount, the buildings repair and construction work will be done along with the purchase of equipment required for treatment and pathology testing in hospitals. The newly built Tamnar CHC will be given funds for equipment purchase.
Collector Mr. Singh says that this will strengthen the health services of the district, especially those living in remote areas of the district will not have to go far for treatment and get better treatment and testing facilities in hospitals near their villages. Will be able to

Buildings will improve with the purchase of medical and lab equipment
Collector Shri Singh has focused on health service and man power in the action plan. For this, efforts are being made to increase the scope of testing facilities in hospitals with good treatment. X-ray machines are being provided in four hospitals Dharamjaigarh, Gharghoda, Kharsia and Sarangarh Kharsia. Whose tender process is in the final stage and the machine will be made available to hospitals within the next one month. In addition, necessary equipment for dental, orthopedic, operation theater will be purchased along with surgical and pathology lab equipment. Along with this, facilities like repairing the window, repairing the window door shattering and RO water cooler CCTV will also be added for the rejuvenation of the hospitals. Televisions will be installed for the enhancement of the health of the patients coming to the hospitals along with the entertainment of children living with the renovation and expansion of facilities of NRC centers. In order to improve the standard of hospitals’ toilets, work will be done to clean the trenches and clean them. The task of construction has been entrusted to the Housing Board.
Call center will be set up for pregnant women
Collector Mr. Singh, taking sensitive initiative for pregnant women , instructed to make call center for providing vehicles for coming to hospital for delivery in case of emergency. Due to this, if there is a delay in arrival of 102 Mahtari Express to enroll a pregnant woman, then in that case vehicle facility can be provided to them from the district level call center. For this, Collector Mr. Singh has identified a vehicle in all the villages of the district and asked him to keep the details so that in case of emergency, the vehicle can be provided to the needy woman through the medical staff posted there or through the district level call center.

50 ANM will be recruited soon
Collector Mr. Singh has instructed to complete the recruitment of the approved 50 ANMs to increase manpower in the hospitals soon, and has also directed the CMHO to speed up the recruitment process of doctors and other medical and supporting staff.

The district will get 05 new ambulance
collector Mr. Singh has also reviewed the ambulance operating in the district under 108 in the past and gave clear instructions to the steering agency to immediately replace the dilapidated ambulance. On which 05 new ambulances are going to meet the district soon. In which this ambulance will be made available mainly to Sarangarh, Gharghoda and Lailunga Community Health Centers. 2 bike ambulances will also be purchased for remote areas of Dharmajaygarh. Condom vehicles of 102 Mahtari Express have also been asked to replace them soon.
Nodal made for the purchase and construction of machines, the
collector Mr. Singh took a meeting of Health Department in detail and reviewed the purchase and repair work of machines in every community health center in detail. He deployed different nodal officers for construction work and instructed them to assess the works after inspecting the hospital and said that work should be carried forward soon.
