On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Ghasidas Baba, Bhavesh Shobha Yatra was taken out in Raipur city on Saturday, during which a large number of people of Satnami community were present. In this Shobha Yatra, tableaux were taken out displaying Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba and Jaitkham.
In the procession, youth displayed attractive tableaux, Dhumal, DJ, cultural glimpses of folk artists and bravery of Akhara groups displaying the ideals and messages of Guru Ghasidas ji. A large number of children, women and men accompanied the musical instruments in the procession. Dancing was seen. The procession started from Amapara Plaza and ended at Guru Ghasidas Chowk (City Clock) via Azad Chowk, Purani Basti, Budhapara, Municipal Corporation White House, Mahila Thana, Motibagh. Where the guests were greeted with special worship of all the saints and Mangal Aarti. The best five tableaux included in the Shobha Yatra were honored. 29th year of Shobha Yatra
Chetan Chandel, spokesperson of Guru Ghasidas Sahitya and Sanskriti Academy, said that every year a procession is taken out on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Ghasidas Baba. This year is the 29th year of this yatra. Guru Ghasidas Sahitya and Sanskriti Academy founder Narsingh Mandal started it in the procession in the year 1994.
