Raipur. The Higher Education Department has suspended the Principals in charge of colleges in two different districts on charges of financial irregularities. The officer in charge of the Directorate of Higher Education has issued this order.
Let us tell you that the then in-charge Principal of Government Eklavya College of Dondilohara, Dr. Raju Lal Kosare has been found guilty of not following the store purchase rules in purchasing material from the amount of public participation item and negligence in accounting. Apart from this, a case of embezzlement of public participation item of about Rs 50 lakh and negligence in accounting maintenance was revealed in Acharya Pantshri Gandhamuni Naam Saheb Government Post Graduate College of Kawardha. In this case, the in-charge Principal Dr. B.S. Chauhan is accused of being grossly negligent in government work and disregarding the rules, due to which he has been suspended. During the suspension period, his headquarters has been fixed at Durg Division Office, Higher Education Raipur.
