, Gariaband. A constable on duty died after colliding with a truck laden with paddy parked near Baruka bridge on National Highway 130C. Let us tell you that the truck was parked carelessly. The driver had not used any indication regarding the truck lying stopped on the highway. Nor did anyone responsible pay attention to this. Sunil Kumar Yadav, posted as constable in City Kotwali Gariaband, was coming from his residence Nagjhar late in the evening for Kotwali duty. During this, Sunil’s bike collided with a vehicle parked carelessly on the National Highway. The accident happened when Sunil tried to bring the bike to the side to give way to a vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The jawan suffered serious head injury due to the forceful collision. After the accident, instead of getting admitted immediately, people kept making videos on their mobiles.
On receiving information about the incident, Gariaband police brought the injured soldier to the district hospital in their vehicle, where after investigation the doctors declared him dead. There is mourning in the entire Gariaband police department due to the news of the tragic death of the soldier. The entire staff of City Kotwali police station including Kotwali in-charge Krishna Kumar Jangade was present in the district hospital. During this time everyone’s eyes were sad. The police station in-charge has confirmed the incident and said that necessary action will be taken in this matter.
