Mohla. In the Naxal-affected Manpur block headquarters, the jail bharo movement of Sarva Adivasi Samaj is proposed on various issues including police harassment of villagers. People of the society are coming from many districts by changing their routes to join this movement. The police department is on alert mode. In view of the Balodabazar violence, the block headquarters has been converted into a cantonment. A large number of police force has reached Manpur. The district administration and the top officers of the police department are engaged in brainstorming and various exercises to deal with any unpleasant situation

Tribal leaders have also arrived from Bastar

Manpur bus stand has been blocked from all directions. Security arrangements have been made at various places by placing a large number of barricades. Even water cannon vehicles have been deployed. A general meeting of tribals is going on in front of Gondwana Bhavan in Manpur. Former Union Minister Arvind Netam has also reached the meeting. Tribal community leaders and officials from various districts are also present in the meeting. Hundreds of villagers are also present in the meeting.
