PM Modi CG Visit: PM Narendra Modi is coming on 2-day Chhattisgarh tour, traffic police issued advisory, traffic will be disrupted on these routes

 Raipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a 2-day visit to Chhattisgarh. During the night stay at Raj Bhavan, the routes to Raipur Vivekananda Airport will remain disrupted. On April 23, between 06 to 08 pm, the route from the airport via Fundhar Chowk Expressway to Shankar Nagar Chowk to Bhagat Singh Chowk G.E. Road to Raj Bhawan is considered and on April 24, between 08 to 10 am, the return route is considered to be via the same route. Normal traffic will also be disrupted on the VIP road from Ram Mandir to Mana Airport, including the route leading to the airport. Keeping in mind the route diversion, the traffic police has issued an advisory to the passengers going to the airport to take extra time to leave home and use alternative routes.

  1. To go to Mana Airport, you will be able to park your vehicle in the old terminal from Mana Camp via Dhamtari Road from Pachpedinaka Chowk and enter the airport.
  2. G.E. You will be able to enter the airport by parking your vehicle in the old terminal via the road via Serikhedi via Naya Raipur entry route via Jainam Bhawan route.

Also, keeping this security arrangement in view during the night rest program of PM Modi at Raj Bhavan on 23 April 2024, normal traffic will be disrupted all around the Raj Bhavan from 04 pm to 10 am on 24 April: –

  1. From Kalimata Temple Tiraha towards Raj Bhavan
  2. From Khazana Chowk towards Raj Bhavan
  3. Old PHQ from Tiraha towards Raj Bhawan
  4. From Electricity Office Tiraha towards Raj Bhawan
  5. ⁠From Banjari Chowk towards Raj Bhavan

During the visit of the Prime Minister, traffic will be disrupted on the VIP route and various routes of the city from the security poin point of view. To avoid inconvenience, an advisory has been issued to ensure smooth and safe transportation by using other alternative routes.
