Hundreds of people and Congressmen, angry over power cuts in the area, surrounded the electricity distribution center under the leadership of former Congress MLA Vinod Sevanlal Chandrakar. They also protested in front of the center. Breaking the barricades, the protesters entered the electricity office of Tumgaon. They raised slogans against the government and officers. Former MLA Vinod Chandrakar along with the citizens sat on a dharna in front of the electricity distribution center regarding the electricity problem.
