Digital payments and financial services firm Paytm has earmarked Rs 100 crore for marketing campaigns during the festive season. Paytm gave this information on Monday. Under this campaign, the company will offer cashback to its customers.
Apart from this, the company will also campaign for the promotion of UPI and ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’. The company has launched ‘Paytm Cashback Dhamaka’ as a marketing campaign for customers across all districts of India.
Under this campaign of Paytm, the company is specifically focusing on states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Paytm said in a statement on Monday, “During the festive season, the company and its partners will spend Rs 100 crore on marketing activities.

Chance to win up to Rs 10 lakh daily
These campaigns will promote digital payments in India and inform users about Paytm UPI for money transfer, Paytm Wallet and Paytm Postpaid. Every day during the festive season 10 lucky winners will win Rs 1 lakh. 10,000 winners will get Rs 100 cashback, while another 10,000 users will win Rs 50 cashback. Around Diwali (November 1-3) users can win up to Rs 10 lakh per day.

Cashback will be provided on using Paytm for your mobile, broadband DTH recharge, bill payment, money transfer, travel ticket booking, credit card bill payment, movie ticket booking, FASTag payment, online and offline kirana store transactions etc. If you do bill payment or cash transfer from Paytm around Diwali, you can get cashback.

A company spokesperson said- “Our aim is to promote financial transactions in India by empowering more and more users with digital payments. Today, users flock to Paytm to pay their bills, recharge, transfer money among other services. Paytm Cashback has been launched to celebrate Dhamaka.”
