Paush Mahina 2024: Paush, the tenth month of the Hindu calendar, will run from December 16 to January 13. There is a tradition of worshiping the Sun God in this month. What to do in Pausha month?
- 1. In the month of Paush, one should regularly recite Geeta and meditate on Lord Krishna.
- 2. Offer Tulsi leaves to Lord Krishna and then consume them as prasad.
- 3. One should chant the mantra of Lord Vishnu Om Namo Bhagavat Vasudevay Namah throughout the month. If possible, take a bath in a holy river, especially on Amavasya and Purnima days.
- 4. In the month of Paush, feed tur dal and rice khichdi mixed with ghee to the needy.
- 5. Wear red clothes, donate in a copper vessel.
- 6. On Paush Monday, worship Lord Shiva by offering Belpatra.
