People from Ambikapur booked parcels from Bilaspur, Raipur and Durg and used to order goods on the second day. They were operated from Ambikapur on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays every week. While on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from the fort. The service started from April 8 and the special parcel train departed from Ambikapur for the last time on May 25 and was subsequently discontinued. According to railway sources, according to which the parcel train was run, booking was not available. Only a few items were booked. For this reason, the railway management had to suffer in running it.

The train used to be completely empty from Ambikapur

In the special parcel train running between Ambikapur-Durg and Durg-Ambikapur, some traders or shopkeepers used to book goods on behalf of Durg or from Bilaspur, Raipur.
