Raipur. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, while returning from his Chhattisgarh tour today, discussed many issues related to the state with the media at Raipur airport. During this, while talking to journalists, he told that he had gone on a tour of Kawardha and Kanker in Chhattisgarh. He told that we did the Bhoomi Pujan of Hanuman temple in Kabirdham (Kawardha) and after that we also went to Kanker.
He told that very soon he will come to Bastar to stop religious conversion and to make people aware of Sanatan, to unite them, to awaken Hindutva… so that work can be done on humanity, work can be done on education.
On the issue of conversion in Chhattisgarh, he said that many conversions have happened in the past. They are being made to return home. Like yesterday 11 people were made to return home in Kanker. He told that when was asked there that when did the conversion happen? So people told in 2019, 2021, 2020, and some had converted much earlier. We have not seen whether this is happening at present or not.
What is your business in my courtyard..? : Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri
On the sadhus’ demand to ban non-Hindu shopkeepers from Maha Kumbh, Dheerendra Krishna Shastri said that they have an event, their Mecca Medina. There are no shops of Sanatani Hindus there. Hindus are not allowed to go there, we have seen this there. He said that we will show you the video, even if you wear saffron clothes, you cannot enter Mecca Medina, they are banned there. Then what is their work in my courtyard..?
He said that we all know the great Kumbh of our Sanatan Dharma, the glory of our saints, the glory of Triveni Sangam. Whatever decision our Shankaracharya Akhara Parishad takes, we agree with it. If they are imposing this ban… then it is right. We are not against Muslims. We are only against the mentality of those who commit inhuman acts, spitting and urinating.
Emphasis on Gurukul system of education
Stating that lack of education is a major reason behind the increasing crimes in Bastar, Shastri said that development of education will help in the development of the state and the country. He said that the education of “Gurukul method” should be adopted, in which emphasis has been laid on teaching the lesson of “Ahimsa Param Dharmah”.
Foreign powers working in a planned manner
Dhirendra Shastri alleged that efforts are being made to destroy the tribal culture in the name of conversion. He said, citing the example of Asia’s largest church in Jashpur, that foreign powers are engaged in conversion in a planned manner.
He said that we are not against them. But, we are against those who convert innocent tribal people living in forest areas by luring them. Because everyone has the right to freedom. You cannot convert people by luring them. According to the law and the constitution, this is a crime. That is why we will ensure homecoming.
