Raipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people to plant ‘one tree in the name of mother’. Under this, extensive plantation work is being done on the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Finance Minister OP Choudhary today planted a Peepal tree in the name of his mother Kaushalya Devi Choudhary in the Nagar Van located in Urdana of Raigarh district. He said that plantation should be done with the resolve to keep the tree alive.
Addressing the ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ program organized by the Forest and Climate Change Department, Finance Minister Choudhary said that environmental protection is as important as human life. For environmental protection, every person should follow the tradition of living amidst nature. For this, we should plant as many trees as possible and protect the trees as we protect our children. More than planting any tree, it is our responsibility to keep it alive.
