Raipur. Vengtesh Superspecialist Hospital located in the capital Raipur organized a special program today on the occasion of World COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Day. On this occasion, Zumba dance and exercise were organized in the Telibandha pond complex, through which the city residents were made aware about COPD.
During the program, Dr. Ravindra Kumar, Senior Lung Specialist, Vengatesh Superspecialist Hospital, said that today’s program has been organized mainly to spread awareness about COPD and its preventive measures. He said that due to increasing pollution and bad environment, breathing problems are increasing among people, especially this problem is being seen more in children and the elderly. People are facing breathing problems due to dust, smoke and pollution, and this is why such awareness programs are very important.
Dr. Ravindra Kumar said that doing Zumba dance and exercise improves the health of the lungs and it also keeps the rest of the body fresh. He appealed to people to exercise regularly so that their lung function remains good and they can avoid any physical problem.A large number of people participated in the program and understood the measures to prevent COPD through Zumba dance and exercise.
