Now the question is whether the Madhya Pradesh government is really committed to implementing 27% OBC reservation, or is it just trying to procrastinate by entangling it in legal framework. The matter is no longer limited to just reservation, but is also raising questions on the policy and intention of the government. 

Petitioner’s lawyer Vinayak Prasad Shah said that 27% reservation for OBC is applicable in Chhattisgarh. 81% reservation is applicable in Chhattisgarh including SC, ST, OBC and EWS. OBC can also be appointed in Madhya Pradesh on the same pattern. The matter will be looked into again after the Supreme Court’s decision. The Supreme Court has ordered to club all the cases with the cases of Chhattisgarh.
