Railways on new heights of development under the leadership of PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is inaugurating, doing bhoomi pujan and laying the foundation stone of 6000 projects of Railways prepared at a cost of Rs 85000 crore. Under his leadership, railway services have touched heights of development.
Stalls open under One Station, One Product
- Under the One Station, One Product scheme in Chhattisgarh, 34 stalls started at 18 railway stations of the state including Raipur, Mandhar, Mandir Hasaud, Tilda-Nevra, Sarona and Urkura.
- Jan Aushadhi Kendra at Janjgir-Naila and Pendra railway stations, upgradation of peatline at Durg coaching depot and rail coach restaurant at Bilaspur were inaugurated.
- The foundation stone of Vande Bharat Maintenance Depot in Bilaspur, MEMU car shed expansion in Bhilai, construction of new peat line in Ambikapur was also laid.
The concept of the stall is
“One Station One Product” (OSOP) to promote ‘Vocal for Local’ approach, provide market for local/indigenous products and provide additional income opportunities to marginalized sections of the society. The plan has been implemented. In this stall, products of local artisans, potters, weavers/handloom weavers and craftsmen will be available.
Congress said- Rejuvenation of railway stations is a deception from the country
At the same time, Congress has termed the laying of foundation stone of new railway projects and the rejuvenation of 508 railway stations across the country under Amrit Bharat Yojana as an illusion of the Modi government. State Congress Communication Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said that the Modi government is conspiring to close passenger trains and rail facilities.

When the facilities provided to the common man from Railways will be abolished.
Shukla said that from the functioning of the Modi government regarding the Railways, it seems that the country’s most reliable passenger facility is conspiring to privatize transport.
