IAS Janak Prasad Pathak has taken over as the new Excise Commissioner of Chhattisgarh state today. During this, the officers and employees of the Excise Commissioner’s office have congratulated Janak Pathak on assuming office.
Janak Prasad Pathak is an IAS officer of 2007 batch. Till now he was Special Secretary of Commercial Taxes Department besides Housing and Environment Department. In addition to his current responsibilities, Janak Prasad Pathak has also been given the responsibility of Excise Commissioner. Talking while assuming the charge, IAS Janak Prasad Pathak said that the government has given him a big responsibility as Excise Commissioner. He will handle it well.
Decision taken in the interest of the employee
Immediately after assuming the charge of Excise Commissioner, Pathak resolved the pending compassionate appointment case of Prashant Yadav. Along with this, the pension case of retired District Excise Officer Sanjay Agarwal and Rajeev Lochan was also resolved by IAS Pathak.
Recently, the state government has issued a new post establishment order for Indian Administrative Service officers. Under this, IAS Janak Prasad Pathak has been given the additional charge of Excise Commissioner. He will also hold the charge of Excise Secretary. Along with this, he will also remain the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Environment.
