50 Naxalites surrendered in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Giving information about this, the Union Home Minister has reacted. Home Minister Amit Shah said that after March 31, 2026, Naxalism will become history in the country, this is our resolution. He said, ‘I welcome those who leave violence and weapons and join the mainstream of development.
Security forces are continuously getting big success against Naxalism in Bastar of Chhattisgarh. In the encounter that took place on Saturday (29 March), security forces killed 17 Naxalites. Meanwhile, on Sunday, 50 Naxalites surrendered before the police in Bijapur.
Giving information about the surrender of 50 Naxalites in Bijapur of Bastar, X wrote, It is a matter of great joy that 50 Naxalites in Bijapur (Chhattisgarh) gave up the path of violence and surrendered. I welcome those who have given up violence and weapons and joined the mainstream of development. A police officer said that out of the 50 Naxalites who surrendered, a total reward of Rs 68 lakh was announced on 14 of them.
