Narayanpur, 29 April 2021. In view of the infection of Corona epidemic, a complete lock down has been put in the district. All shops and business institutions are closed except for essential services. All types of meetings, processions, social, religious and political events etc. have been completely banned. The maximum number of persons to organize and attend the marriage program in the residence of the bride or groom is fixed at 20. Along with this, the maximum number of people to be involved in the program related to the funeral, dashagatra and death has also been fixed at 20.
As per the instructions of Collector Shri Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, the lockdown is being carried out with full vigor by the administration in the entire Narayanpur district. The administration is very cautious about the instructions issued under lockdown to prevent the spread of corona infection. Under the leadership of SDM Mr. Dinesh Kumar Nag, raids were carried out in the social programs being organized in the district by a joint team of Deputy Collector Vaibhav Kumar Kshetrapathi, Tehsildar Sunil Sonpipre and Naib Tehsildar Khyati Netam. SDM Mr. Dinesh Kumar Nag said that 5 joint marriage programs were conducted by the joint team, out of which 2 raids were conducted in Kumharpara in Narayanpur city area, 1 in Budhwari Bazar Para and in Degaon and Guriya in rural areas. Including potteries, In the matrimonial program held at Budhwari Bazar Para and Guriya, the people were following the guidelines issued by the government. At the same time, around 150-200 people attended the matrimonial program in Devgaon, on which a person conducting the marriage was fined Rs 25 thousand and the DJ operator was fined Rs 10,000. SDM Mr. Dinesh Kumar Nag said that action will be continued regularly for those who do not follow the Guidelines issued by the District Administration. The district is currently limited in terms of prevention and control of corona infection, the number of citizens involved in programs such as matrimonial programs, funerals. Collector of Shri Dharmesh Kumar Sahu issued an order to the effect that only online applications for matrimonial program will be accepted in Narayanpur district. In the order issued, according to the instructions of the government, under the Public Service Guarantee, there is a directive to provide services to the general public through the public service centers, in compliance with the application for exemption from lock-down for matrimonial program under District Narayanpur. -District will be taken only through online through Public Service Center / Common Service Center.
