Raipur. Municipal Corporation Raipur has started collecting property tax for the new financial year from Friday. Along with online, property tax can also be deposited offline by visiting the zones.
Corporation Deputy Commissioner Revenue RK Dongre said that on the instructions of Collector Gaurav Kumar Singh and Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, the system is being updated after the property tax was collected in the last session. After the system was updated, the work of collecting property tax has been started from Friday. Taxpayers will be given a rebate of six and a quarter percent if they deposit their assets by the end of April.
