Mungeli 15 October 2020. Elma revoked the license of Mr. Manish Kumar Upadhyay, who sold stamp paper at a price higher than the prescribed price in the district. Collector Mr. Elma informed that information was being received through common people and newspapers to sell the stamp at a price higher than the price set by the stamp vendor. It is illegal to sell stamp paper at a price higher than the fixed price. In this regard, the District Registrar of Mungeli district, Mr. Kshetrani informed that in the past, a complaint was received by the stamp vendor of the Tehsil office premises Mr. Manish Kumar Upadhyay for selling the stamp at a price higher than the fixed price. Taking this seriously, he was instructed to submit an explanation within two days. Mr. Manish Kumar Upadhyay, on the basis of Rule 27A & B of Chhattisgarh Stamp Rules 1942, for not furnishing the clarification within two days and the response to the explanation is not satisfactory.
