He has said that the people of Chhattisgarh will start getting gas cylinders for Rs 500 before the upcoming urban body elections. However, he also said that its benefit will be given to those women in whose name the gas connection is. He said this during the voter conference organized in the West Assembly of the capital Raipur today.
Let us tell you that in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections, BJP had promised that we will give gas cylinders for Rs 500. Along with this, other guarantees were also given to the people. The government has also fulfilled some of these promises, but despite more than six months having passed since the elections, one of the most important promises of giving gas cylinders for Rs 500 has not been fulfilled yet. In such a situation, people’s expectations regarding cheap cylinders have started increasing.
Earlier, CM Sai had also given indications
It is worth noting that earlier on Wednesday, July 10, a meeting of the BJP’s working committee was held in Raipur, at that time too CM Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the BJP workers, had said that we will soon give gas cylinders to the people in Chhattisgarh for Rs 500. Although CM Vishnu Dev Sai did not give any specific date regarding this, but he definitely said that we will give it soon. Meanwhile, now MP Brijmohan Agarwal has talked about giving gas cylinders for Rs 500 before the upcoming urban body elections.
