A 5 year old innocent girl was raped in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The girl was raped by a 14 year old neighbor boy. The mother said that at first the girl could not tell the truth due to fear. But when the pain increased it was revealed. After the shameful incident, the Sarpanch has also accused the police of showing insensitivity and negligence.
The attitude of the police described by the Sarpanch was shocking. He told that when police station in-charge Shivam Rajput was told that the girl’s condition was serious, take her to the hospital. So he said that if you are suffering so much, then take Mekahara in your own car. Then they kept the girl’s father sitting in the police station for about 3 hours in the name of registering an FIR.
The Sarpanch of the village talked to the girl’s parents and family members regarding this entire incident. In which he revealed the entire incident.
‘The girl did not tell the truth earlier due to fear’
Regarding this incident, the girl’s mother told that this incident happened around 1 o’clock. I came to know about this around 3 pm. Initially the girl was afraid of telling that her mother would hit her. But when the pain became severe, he said that he had done dirty things to me. Then I immediately called the girl’s father and called him home. The father said – there should be the harshest punishment.
The father of the victim girl works in a private job. He was on duty at the time of the incident. He told Bhaskar that he received a call from his wife around 3 pm. So he said that the girl is not well, come home quickly. Then we took her to the community center of Dharsiwa. The girl was brought to the hospital by bike.
As soon as they came to know about the rape, the parents immediately took them by bike to the local community center. The staff present there suspected rape after seeing the condition of the girl. The girl’s condition was serious. After that the father went to Dharsiwa police station to inform the police. Around 6 o’clock the village sarpanch also reached the police station along with his family members.
Ambulance not available even for Raipur referral
The village sarpanch said that the police station had made the girl’s father sit for 3 hours in the name of filing an FIR. Whereas he had to be with his daughter. When he told this, the police station officer scolded him and said that if you are in so much trouble, then take him to Mekahara in your own car. We do not have ambulance facility.
He further told that the police took the girl crying in pain in a patrolling vehicle to Mekahara Hospital around 9 pm. The girl and mother were seen sitting on the ground of the hospital.
After this incident, the girl was brought to Mekahara Hospital. So the doctors did the initial checkup. After that, when Bhaskar’s team reached there, the girl and her mother were seen sitting on the ground at one end of the gallery outside the ward. This picture would shock any person. What was the whole incident?
According to the information, a minor boy living in a village of Dharsiwa police station area coaxed a 5-year-old girl living in his neighborhood and took him with himself. He raped the girl. When the girl’s condition started deteriorating and she started crying loudly.
After this the whole matter reached the hospital and police station. At present the police have registered an FIR in this matter. The minor accused has also been arrested.
