The monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly is going to start from July 22. It will run till July 31. The officers have started preparing for it. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh shared the information with the media on Thursday.
Dr. Singh said that the process is going on regarding the assembly session. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has fixed the time for this. The Parliamentary Affairs Minister had sent the proposal. Now the assembly session will be called by this time.
The state will develop
Regarding the work of the Chhattisgarh government, Dr. Raman Singh said that the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and Vishnu Dev Sai in Chhattisgarh will work with a double engine model. Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. Now we will see rapid development. Chhattisgarh’s progress will accelerate.
Meeting regarding new assembly building
Actually, a meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur to review the progress of construction of the new building of the Vidhan Sabha. In which Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, MLAs and officers-employees participated.
The project is worth more than 245 crores
The project of Chhattisgarh’s new Vidhan Sabha building is more than 245 crore 16 lakh. In this building which is being built in 52 thousand 497 square meters, the House, Speaker’s, Officers, distinguished spectators, journalists and spectators’ gallery are also being built as per the seating capacity of the MLAs.
Apart from this, rooms, meeting halls and staff rooms are also being built for the Speaker, Chief Minister, Ministers, Leader of Opposition, Deputy Speaker, Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary of the Assembly, Secretary, other Secretaries. There will also be allopathic, homeopathic and Ayurvedic dispensaries here.
Apart from various committee rooms, there will also be rooms for library, post office, railway reservation counter and bank. Beautification is also being done around the assembly including road construction and plantation.
Raj Bhawan in 14 acres, Chief Minister’s residence in 8 acres
Raj Bhavan, CM House, bungalows for ministers and officers along with 164 houses are being built in Sector 24 of Nava Raipur. About 505 crore rupees are being spent on this. The Raj Bhavan campus will be spread over 14 acres, where there will be a secretariat building and staff quarters along with the Darbar Hall. The CM House to be built on 8 acres will have 6 bedrooms, family, living room, private theatre, health centre and a large library.
